A closer look
A neatly mounted TV can still look unfinished when its cables hang down the wall. In-wall cable concealment helps bring the whole setup together by routing suitable connections out of sight. GitCrafts provides this service in Los Angeles County, including Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, with the route and visible finish discussed before work begins.
The first question is what needs to connect to what. A TV above a media cabinet, a screen on an articulating mount and a Frame TV with a separate connection box can require different arrangements. We look at the equipment, outlet locations and the space available behind the wall. A route that looks simple from the room may have obstructions inside it.
Concealment must suit the cables as well as the room. An ordinary TV power cord or extension cord is not a cable to hide loose inside a wall. Power and signal connections need an appropriate installation method, and model-specific connections need to be checked rather than assumed suitable. We agree the approach before making openings.
Hardware is included for the agreed cable-concealment installation. Tell us about plaster, tile, masonry, a fireplace or an existing concealed route so we can assess it in advance. If the intended route is unsuitable, we discuss the options and any change of scope with you instead of promising a result the wall cannot accommodate.

Before your appointment
Send photos of the TV wall, nearby outlets and the cabinet or equipment location. Include the TV model, any separate connection box and the devices you want connected.
Mention the wall surface and whether you rent or have building restrictions on wall openings. Clear access to the wall and keep the relevant device connections available for the appointment.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
A few helpful answers.
Can every TV cable go inside a wall?
No. Cables and their installation method must be suitable for the route. We check power, signal and model-specific connections rather than treating them all the same.
Can you hide a Samsung Frame TV connection cable?
Send the exact TV model and connection-box details. Compatibility and the permitted installation method depend on the equipment; we do not assume every One Connect cable is in-wall rated.
Will there be openings in the wall?
An in-wall route normally needs suitable entry and exit points. We discuss their positions and the expected finish before beginning.
Is cable concealment included with TV mounting?
It is a separate service. You can request it together with mounting so we can plan the screen position and cable route as one job.
What if I am renting?
Check permission for wall openings with your landlord or building manager. If opening the wall is not an option, tell us so we can discuss a different approach.
Is your work covered by a warranty?
Yes. GitCrafts provides a 3-month workmanship warranty from the date the job is completed. If an issue is caused by our workmanship, contact us at 415 596 6909 so we can put it right at no additional charge.
